Introducing Buildable
We’re excited to introduce Buildable.
Buildable is an AI-powered workspace for building user interfaces—whether you're making a quick prototype, a customer demo, or production-ready components to integrate into an existing application.
#Why we built Buildable
From the start, our goal with Buildable has been simple: help people create delightful applications without locking them into rigid tools, models, or closed ecosystems.
Over the past year, we’ve spoken with many builders—engineers, designers, product managers, and everyone in between. One thing became obvious quickly: everyone is still experimenting and learning how best to use AI. But the mental overload of keeping up with today's "best" model or workflow is already causing teams to juggle multiple AI providers, copy context between many tools, and re-write everything when they go from prototype to production.
Buildable aims to be a more flexible launchpad for your work, allowing you to experiment and switch between AI models, iterate rapidly with visual previews and editing, and then export or publish your work.
#How Buildable works
You can start building by writing a prompt, uploading a wireframe or screenshot, or with an example piece of code. As the AI works, you see the application come to life instantly in a live preview—layouts, components, and interactions evolving as you iterate.
At any point, you can switch between different AI models and keep going. Buildable preserves context and progress so you can compare approaches, explore alternatives, or take advantage of new capabilities as they emerge—without restarting or rewriting everything.
#Built for teams—and people who wear different hats
We designed this in mind for product managers, engineers, and designers—and for people who no longer fit neatly into a single bucket (like design engineers and product managers who have taken to vibecoding).
Use Buildable to:
- Prototype ideas quickly and align with stakeholders
- Build real UI components for an existing application
- Explore interactions and layouts without boilerplate
#Sensible defaults, plus flexibility
Buildable creates applications using a standard, production-ready stack—sensible defaults like React, Tailwind, and Typescript—while exposing advanced settings to pick different frameworks and libraries for those who need it.
The result is real code that you can use, not a dead-end that you have to throw away. Refine, extend, or export your prototypes to other developer tools like Cursor or Claude Code.
#Collaboration and sharing
Every iteration of a project is automatically saved, making it easy to explore, compare, and revisit ideas over time.
Each project also gets a unique shareable link, so you can quickly loop in teammates or collaborators. Buildable naturally becomes a shared space for early thinking, feedback, and iteration.
#What’s coming next
We see Buildable as the foundation for a broader creative workspace. Some of the things we’re actively building toward include:
- Support for an even wider range of AI models, including newer, experimental providers
- Deeper integrations with other editors and coding tools
- Richer collaboration features, including real-time editing with multiple users
- Ability to remix, extend, and build on other people’s projects
- First-class support for data storage and external data sources
- Simple deployment steps via GitHub and popular hosting platforms
#Join us early
Buildable is still early, and we’re looking for thoughtful early adopters who want to help shape what this product becomes. If you’re excited about experimenting with new models, building visually, and staying flexible as the ecosystem evolves, we’d love to have you.
You can also join the community and talk with us directly on Discord, or reach out to us at [email protected].
And of course, visit Buildable to start building. Describe your idea, watch it take shape, and take it wherever you want next.
